Godzilla 2: The Fan Fiction has officially been announced and work starts now! To fill you in on the project, Godzilla 2 (Fan-Fiction) is to take the place of the sequel of the 1998 smash hit, GODZILLA!. For the project After Dusk Studios(The site presenting the story) will need writers to help produce the story. There is a current deadline of November 2009 on which we hope to have the story released and ready to read. For those interested please E-mail me at: nyc.joshua.d@gmail.com. In other news the Message Boards for the site have been temporally shut down and will be back online in a couple weeks. For those that have Blu-Ray, Godzilla is expected to come out some time this November.

The new message board is up running at a new Url so if you have not checked it out or joined I suggest it. On the new message board we have a new RPG called Godzilla The RPG: Battle of New York, on the message board there is a forum shop where you can buy weapons to use in the game. If you are a G-98,GTS, or Zilla fan I suggest you join.
Also,
Hasbro has just released the Cloverfield Action-figure at a price of $99.99.

It has been 10 years since Godzilla came into theaters and it has been 10 years since the summer of Godzilla. So I invite many of you to come in and enjoy the summer visit the forums and most of all get exclusive content from G1998db Weblog. News and stuff
Its been a ,slow news month so far with no news at all but there is some news . One thing is if you’re looking for some Godzilla 1998 user bars we have them on the forum and you can access those by clicking here.
Late but special mention of a fun monster film that came out 10 years ago the movie Godzilla smashed and stomped its way into theaters on Memorial Day 1998. Happy birthday Godzilla 1998! Below is some wallpaper to celebrate.

After almost a year offline it returns today back to the World-Wide Web with a total make over.
Godzilla 1998 Database V10.0 is back and bigger and better than it ever was. It took over a year to get this site ready. There are still some errors so please bare with me and report these either you can do so at the message boards or by e-mail.
A lot has changed since 2001 on the net, and its time to get back and kick’n. Its been since 2004 since we have a had a Message Board and it's good to finally have one. We suggest even if you like anything related to G-98 that you join. I also hope to see more G-98 and GTS sites pop up. This site is the 3rd oldest G-98 site and is still around.
Anyway relax feel free to look around.

Lot’s to say!
It’s been a great news year for Godzilla 1998 compared to that of other years, we’ve got word of a Godzilla 2 film and Godzilla 1998 on Blu-Ray. To add maybe just a little bit to the news Godzilla 2 the Fan Fiction is moving along great and there is a new YouTube account (WIDF News) posting rare and some high quality content that relates to Godzilla 98’.
Starting off with the hope of a new Godzilla film, Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Legendary Pictures (Dark Night, King Kong) are having discussions with Toho on another American made version of Godzilla. However, none of this is official from what the major sources are telling us.
The news kept on flowing in on November 11th with the release of Godzilla 1998 on Blu-Ray. The Blu-ray DVD contains much of the same content from the previous releases on the film from the DVD’s. You can read short review on it by going to the review section.
Last but not least, there are two official(Nicholas 092282) YouTube channels posting exclusive content from the film and GTS. The most recent WIDF News has posted some very old, and not seen by many eyes 2 20-30 second interviews from two of the cast members at the Godzilla premiere at Madison Square Garden in 1998.
