The Making

When the site was first created in 2001 it was actually just a one page site. My brother knew I was a big Godzilla 98 fan so he decided to show me a few things about the net and walked me  through making the first version of the site.

 On Tripod it just had “Welcome to my site” and a couple of Pictures of the G-man himself.  Then Version 1 launched and was moved to geocities and it was the same thing basically. As time went on the site transformed into what it is today.

First Known

My site was first seen on Goji-Stomp.  It got very good reviews, though some was criticism. Most of the criticism was manly for being a GINO site. However I still continued to move on and build upon the site.

Name Change

Some time in 2005 I got an E-mail saying I should change my site Name to “ZILLA-DATABASE” I said no.

So I am not going to change the site name I am not going to change Godzilla-98 Fest to “Zilla Fest”. So as long as I am around I will refer to my site name as “Godzilla 1998” or “Godzilla-98”. Or G – 98(ETC.)

Inspired

The site name was inspired by Jurassic Park Database hence the word “database”.
